Russian farmers are more inclined to invest in the repair and maintenance of previously purchased equipment than to purchase new or used equipment. This is shown by the result of a survey conducted jointly by Aurora (www.aa-p.ru) and Avito. There is a clear trend towards an increase in the service life of equipment: farmers have begun to handle it more carefully, respectively, the need for new parts and early maintenance is increasing. Based on the data of the Avito portal, this year the demand for spare parts has risen six times compared to last year, and the supply has increased by ninety percent. The top three cities with the highest increase in demand for components for agricultural machinery included settlements from regions with the most developed agricultural sector.

Based on the analytics selected from the Pole portal, we can see a 6-fold increase in the interest of farmers in spare parts for agricultural machinery in 2024. Consumers now prefer a convenient and, of course, reliable method of buying spare parts on websites. Here it is immediately clear who the manufacturer of the parts is, and comprehensive support is also provided, from the selection of goods to shipping. In addition, leasing of agricultural machinery is relevant, the demand for which is increasing annually by an order of magnitude, especially taking into account state support.

Based on analytics selected from Avito.Ru, at the start of 2025, about 130 thousand offers for the sale of components for agricultural machinery in the Russian Federation were presented on this online platform. Of this selection, over 117000 offers concerned the sale of new spare parts. The most popular parts in the country during the past year were attachments, bodies, booths, platforms, as well as parts of hydraulic systems. Earlier, the analysis of Rosspetsmash.ru noted a decrease in the production of combines in the Russian Federation this year. According to statistics from the Ministry of Agriculture, during 2024, Russian agricultural enterprises lowered the level of orders for key types of agricultural machinery.
